Additional Info :
When choosing a snow contractor ask the following questions:

Does the service provider carry proper insurance?
Often companies and indivduals only have auto insurance or a company policy that is for their primary business.  In many cases, snow related claims may not be covered.  Ask for the proper insurance with adequate amounts of coverage.

How long has the company provided snow and Ice service?
Companies are quick to quote how many years they have been in business.  Often snow and ice services were an after thought and there is no training or membership to a trade related association such as SIMA ( Snow and Ice Management)

Can the Service provider give you letters of recomendations on properties with the same level of service expectations?
Ask for letters of recomendation and call these to verify the provider is dependable and capable of providing the level of service you need.  Ask the contractor how many accounts are serviced and be careful they are not over committing and underservicing!

Ask about the different ways service can be proposed and make sure you are comparing "apples to apples.
There are many methodes service can be proposed.  Some of these would be per hour, per inch, per push, per season.  Another factor is the equipment used and how it is tracked.  Ask how chemical amounts are tracked and recorded to produce your invoice.

All of the above questions are a start to selecting a professional Snow and Ice service provider.  BSR Services will be happy to provide you additional details and information related to commom questions that you might have.  We look forward to hearing from you in person!
